VAT Rise

The UK government has announced it will increase the UK standard rate of VAT from 17.5% to 20% on Tuesday, 4th January 2011. For more information, click here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/forms-rates/rates/rate-increase.htm

This change will be reflected in all new Lsbags.co.uk invoices raised from the 4th January 2011.

IMPORTANT: All invoices raised before 4th January 2011 will be billed at the current VAT rate of 17.5% even if the invoice period relates to a period after the 4th of January 2011. The change only applies to the standard VAT rate. There are no changes to sales that are zero-rated or reduced-rated for VAT
